Khammam: All India Trade Union Congress (AITUC) State Secretary Singhu Narasimhulu stated that everyone should make the Chalo Hyderabad programme, to be held on June 25, for pressing the State government to solve the issues of municipality workers, a grand success by taking part in it.

Addressing the media at Giriprasad Bhavan in Khammam on Wednesday, Narasimhulu said the government was ignoring the issues of municipal workers for the last four years and demanded the government to provide salaries according to 11th Pay Revision Commission rules to the all municipality workers immediately.

Alleging that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had failed to implement the promises he made to workers, he said to demand the State government to solve all pending issues, a big protest programme (Maha Dharna) would be conducted on June 25 at RTC crossroads in Hyderabad.

He appealed to all municipal workers, outsourcing workers and supporters to participate in the Maha Dharna programme and make it a grand success. AITUC Khammam district president and secretaries G Laxminarayana, BG Climent, B Krishna and other leaders attended the meeting.
