Khammam: Collector R V Karnana reviews development works in the district

Khammam: District Collector R V Karnana along with Joint Collector Hanumanthu and Sub Collector Anurag Jayanthi conducted a review meeting with the district officials on ongoing development works in the district at the Collectorate on Wednesday.

Addressing the meeting, Collector R V Karan directed officials to expedite construction of the double bedroom houses in the district. He asked them to provide all facilities to the occupants of the 2BHK flats such as tap connections and dig bore wells where Mission Bhagiratha water pipeline connection is not available. He asked officials to allot the double bedroom houses to the poor people only. He also reviewed the power and drinking water facilities with the concern officials in the meeting.

The Collector also reviewed the conduct of the upcoming municipal in the district. He informed that the elections would be conducted in Wyra, Sathupally and Madhira municipalities in the district. He told officials to take all necessary measures for the conduct of elections.

District Revenue Officer Sireesha, Districts Panchyat Officer Srinivas Reddy, ATMA Project Director and Industrial department General Manager Krishna Rao, Roads and Building Executive Engineer Syam Prasad, Marketing Officer Santosh Kumar, Rural Water Scheme Executive Engineer Shyam Prasad and other officers attended the meeting.
