District secretary of CPM party Nunna Nageswara Rao, State committee member Pothineni Sudarshan and other leaders called on former MLA and CPI State assistant secretary Kunamneni Sambasiva Rao, who has been on indefinite hunger strike in support of RTC workers strike, in NIMS hospital in Hyderabad on Wednesday.

Khammam: District secretary of CPM party Nunna Nageswara Rao, State committee member Pothineni Sudarshan and other leaders called on former MLA and CPI State assistant secretary Kunamneni Sambasiva Rao, who has been on indefinite hunger strike in support of RTC workers strike, in NIMS hospital in Hyderabad on Wednesday.

The Former MLA has been on the hunger strike for the last five days. During their visit, the Left party leaders discussed the ongoing RTC strike with Kunamneni, who had reportedly said that the government was not honouring the High Court order though the workers has been on strike for the last 25 days.

CPM party leaders appealed to the government to solve the RTC workers issue and also make the former MLA withdraw his indefinite strike.

CPM district leaders M Ramesh, B Lenin, T Naga Raju, Bashiruddin, V Sadanadh called on Kunamneni in Hyderabad on Wednesday.
