Zaheerabad: The Krishnashtami festivities were held with pomp and fervour, here on Friday. A Shobha Yatra was organised with specially decorated chariot adorned by Lord Krishna. Students from different schools came in traditional attires of Krishna and Gopika.
'Pot breaking' ritual was organised and youth participated with enthusiasm. MLA Manik Rao, MLC Fariduddin, BJP leader Jangam Gopi, MPP Giridhar Reddy, MPTC Ramulu, former councilor N Ravikiran, Golla Bhaskar and others were present.
