State Ministers K Tarakarama Rao and T Harish Rao will launch development works worth Rs110 crore during their tour of Ameenpur municipal areas on November 3, said Patancheru MLA Gudem Mahipal Reddy on Thursday.
Ameenpur: State Ministers K Tarakarama Rao and T Harish Rao will launch development works worth Rs110 crore during their tour of Ameenpur municipal areas on November 3, said Patancheru MLA Gudem Mahipal Reddy on Thursday.
Addressing the media near a temple in Beeramguda Gutta, Reddy said the ministers would reach Ameenpur at around 9 am and lay foundation for the four-line ORR from Beeramgoda Kaman to Kishtareddypet costing Rs 49 crore.
Later, they would inaugurate the Rs 61 crore reservoir in Beeramguda Gutta and dedicate it to the people of Ameenpur. The reservoir, the MLA stated, would ensure drinking water to every house in the Ameenpur municipality for which Rs 150 crore was being spent. Already, he said, works of the 30-kilo litre capacity reservoir with pipeline had been completed.
Proposals costing Rs 90 crore have been sent to the government. Reddy assured that he would secure funds for launching the balance works. He pointed that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao had honoured his promise of allotting Rs 49 crore for the 100-ft four-lane road with a central road-divider and lighting.
The MLA revealed that development works costing Rs.100 crore were set to be launched in Patancheru constituency, but because of the election code for the municipal elections the ministers did not have time to do so.
However, they were only launching two works, while others would be declared open after the polls. Among those present at the press meet were local TRS leaders, Ameenpur MPP Erla Devanand, Enugu Narsimha Reddy, Panduranga Reddy, A Srinivas Reddy, Sadaram Narsimhulu, Kalpana and Chandrasekhar.
