KTR optimistic over good growth of IT industry in Telangana
The IT Minister says though the Covid-19 crisis left an impact on many industries, the IT sector is bound to grow in future given the favourable conditions in Hyderabad
Hyderabad: Assuring support for continued growth of the IT sector, Information Technology Minister KT Rama Rao on Monday said that the IT industry would continue to grow even in future. The new body of Hyderabad Software Enterprises Association (HYSEA) met KT Rama Rao at Pragathi Bhavan on Monday.
The delegation congratulated Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and the Minister for achieving IT exports more than the national average. They said that the IT industry registered growth during the last six years because of the cooperation the government gave.
Speaking to the representatives, the Minister said that though the Covid-19 crisis has left an impact on many industries, the sector is bound to grow in future given the favourable conditions in Hyderabad. He assured the representatives to provide all help from the government. He asked them to accept the present conditions as new opportunities. He asked the IT Companies to find solutions to the problems with the help of technology.
The Central government also has made announcement that encouragement would be given to Indian and innovative companies hence the sector should use this as an opportunity. The minister said that the IT department was using online meeting software developed by startup WeHub. The minister said that government would take all steps for continuing the growth rate of the IT sector in the city and sought support of HYSEA.
