Kuravi (Mahabubabad): The jatara at Veerabhadra Swamy temple in Kuravi has made the Tribal Welfare Minister Satyavathi Rathod a child again.

After having darshan of Veerabhadra Swamy on Maha Shivaratri festival on Friday, she eagerly visited the shops at the jatara.

She bought colourful bangles, sweets and toys for her grandson. Satyavathi Rathod, the first woman Minister in Telangana State, visited the Kuravi temple first time after becoming the Minister.

Speaking to the media, she extended wishes on Shivaratri to all the people across the State. "I became a Minister with the blessings of Kuravi Veerabhadra Swamy and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao," she stated and reminded KCR presenting gold mustache to the Lord in the past and sanctioning Rs 5 crores towards the temple development.

Satyavathi said that she will review the expenditure of these funds and if necessary, will request the CM to allot more funds for the temple development.

Only the TRS government is allotting more funds for the development of temples across the State. Yadadri temple is being developed with about Rs 1,000 crore," she added.

Minister Rathod had released a poster on Help Line 1098 for the children aged below 18 years here.
