Lecturer booked for thrashing student in Jagtial

A junior college lecturer booked for allegedly thrashing a student here at a college in Jagtial.

It is learned that Siddiraj, who is a lecturer at Shanti junior college arrived into the classroom of CEC first year to discuss the approaching freshers day in the college. While he was discussing the party, a student named Guggilla Manoj intervened and said that he will leave the classroom as the college time was ended.

Fumed over it, Siddiraj thrashed the student black and blue and a video of it has gone viral. Manoj's parents and student unions staged a protest demanding action against the lecturer.

A case was registered against by the police.
