LS polls results will be declared on ECI web portal
The Central Election Commission IT Deputy Director, Megham Daultha here on Friday informed that the results of Lok Sabha elections will be declared through Suvida app and ECI web portal round wise on the counting day on May 23.
Karimnagar: The Central Election Commission IT Deputy Director, Megham Daultha here on Friday informed that the results of Lok Sabha elections will be declared through Suvida app and ECI web portal round wise on the counting day on May 23.
He was addressing a video conference with the District Election Officers of all States. Speaking on the occasion, CEC, Deputy Director (IT), Megham Daultha explained the district elections officers about the functioning of Suvida app.
District Election Officer and District Collector Sarafaraz Ahmed informed that the EVM's are stored in the strong rooms that are established at SRR Government Degree and PG College under tight police security.
On the counting day on May 23, 14 tables will be arranged according to the Assembly constituency wise so that the counting of votes can be done very easily. There is a possibility of 28 rounds of counting of votes for Karimnagar Lok Sabha constituency.
The Returning Officers will be deployed for uploading the round wise results online through ECI web portal and Suvida app. The results will be declared round wise.
Rehearsals of counting of votes will be conducted on May 21 in the SRR Degree and PG College so that the counting process of votes on May 23, the result day, can be conducted perfectly, said Collector Sarfaraz Ahmed.
Election Special officer Praveenya, Karimnagar and Huzurabad Revenue Divisional officers N Anand Kumar and Chennaiah and Revenue officials attended the video conference.
