Addressing the principals of all government schools in the district at a review meeting here on Monday, the Collector directed all the school authorities to take up cleanliness, greenery and healthcare in a big way. Teachers and students were told to take this campaign to the people not just in urban areas but also in rural areas, he added.

The Collector observed that the main cause of various diseases is because of the non-availability of clean and safe drinking water. However, the State government is supplying tapped drinking water through Mission Bhagirathas.
