Choppadandi: The services of Telangana activists, who have been with the TRS right from the time of its inception, had been recognised by offering them the post of Market Committee Chairman, said MLA Sunke Ravi Shankar.

Market Committee Chairman posts of Gangadhara, Gopalaraopet and Malyala mandals were announced on Saturday in the presence of Choppadandi MLA S Ravi Shankar.

Sagi Mahipal Rao was elected as the chairman and Thalla Suresh as vice-chairman of Gangadhara Market Committee. Gantla Venkat Reddy as the chairman and Tadagonda Anjaiah as vice-chairman of Gopalaraopet Market Committee. Janagam Srinivas as the chairman and Singireddy Thirupathi Reddy was elected as the vice-chairman of Malyala Market Committee.

Speaking at a meeting here on Monday, MLA S Ravi Shankar said that the party will never forget the services rendered and the troubles faced by its loyal activists and had allotted suitable posts to them. By announcing reservations in the allotment of seats in market committees, the government has given equal importance to all communities.

Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is leading the State towards achieving Bangaru Telangana and everyone must take part in the developmental activities and must play their part to support the party and the government.

The CM had introduced several schemes for all sections of people and the party leaders and activists must take all the welfare schemes to all sections of people and must strengthen the party at grassroot levels, the MLA appealed.

KCR had given major share in allotment of schemes to farming sector unlike any other government across the country. The farmers must utilise such schemes and must develop financially, Ravi Shankar added.
