Man dies after police patrolling vehicle hits him
A 35-year-old died on Friday after he was hit by a police vehicle near the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket stadium in Uppal on Thursday.
Hyderabad: A 35-year-old died on Friday after he was hit by a police vehicle near the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket stadium in Uppal on Thursday. The deceased was identified as P Chander Rao, who works in a nursery at Ghatkesar.
According to police, the victim while on his way to work, started from Shubhodaya colony in Karmanghat and reached Uppal. While he was crossing the Uppal X road, a patrolling vehicle belonging to Detective Inspector of Kushaiguda Police Station hit him.
Due to which he sustained serious bleeding injuries. Immediately, he was shifted to Gandhi Hospital for emergency treatment where he died on Friday morning while undergoing treatment.
Uppal police registered a case of negligence causing death and arrested the driver.
