Man sets wife, children and brother-in-law afire in Siddipet

A man has set his wife, children and brother-in-law afire here on Friday at Khammampalli of Kondapaka mandal in Siddipet. Five members have suffered serious burn injuries and were shifted to Gandhi Hospital in Hyderabad. The condition of the five is stated to be critical.

The incident occurred after a tiff between wife and husband. In a fit of rage, the accused poured kerosene on them and set them on fire.

On February 11, a 27-year-old man killed his wife and four-month-old baby by setting them afire at Kondapur. The woman is said to have consumed sleeping pills and also fed her child after an argument with husband. Instead of taking them to a hospital, the accused took his wife and child to an isolated place and burnt them.
