Man strangles wife in Khammam
A man allegedly killed his wife at Rayapatnam village in Madhira mandal in Khammam district on Saturday.

According to sources, Tella Venkata Prasad (40) married Sri Latha (30) 15 years ago and they have a daughter and a son. Venkata Prasad is milk vendor while Sri Latha is a housewife. There were clashes among the couple over an illegal affair of Sri Latha with another man.
Venkata Prasad warned Sri Latha to stop her affair with another man and the elders of both the families had warned Sri Latha to put a stop to her illicit affair, when Prasad approached them. For the last few days, the couple are living separately in the village.
On Saturday morning, Venkata Prasad went to Sri Latha's house and both started fighting on the same issue. In a fit of rage, Venkata Prasad strangled her to death and surrendered at the police station. Police registered case and investigation is on.
