Mancherial: ADCP Ravi Kumar asks police staff to be polite with people

Mancherial: Additional Deputy Commissioner Law and Order Ravi Kumar paid a surprise visit to Srirampur police station and inspected the station record and surroundings and services being provided for the petitioners in Mancherial district on Thursday.

Ravi Kumar enquired the staff and receptionist about their services and told them to issue a compulsory receipt to the complainant, to be courteous with the petitioner, to be empathetic to their problem and to ensure justice.

He inspected the surroundings of the police station and instructed the staff to maintain surroundings always clean and neat. He ordered the staff to keep an eye on illegal transportation and smuggling and trafficking, the police told to be polite with those who come to the police station.

He also asked them to keep special focus on the movements of the old criminal gangs. He told police officials to wear neat and clean uniform when on duty, to be friendly with the people and information sources to get the information and everyone should adopt friendly policing. He also enquired about various crimes and seized vehicles also planted saplings in the premises of police station. Srirampur Inspector B Koteshwar, Sub-Inspector Mangilal and staff were present.
