Public representatives should be answerable to the people, stated Bellampalli MLA Durgam Chinnaiah while addressing Suparipalana (good governance) meeting organised by Satyasai Seva Samithi at Tirumala Function Hall in Bellampalli on Thursday.

Participating as a chief guest, Chinnaiah told the public representatives to treat people as their own family members and they should rule the people so that others could take them as role models.
He told Sarpanches, MPPs and ZPTCs to continue the 30-day action plan works to maintain their respective villages clean and neat. If the villages develop then both State and country will automatically develop, he stated.
He appealed all the people to plant saplings under the government's prestigious scheme Haritha Haram to develop a green cover in villages and to protect all the planted saplings till they grow into trees. The officials were asked to create awareness among the people on cleanliness and the disadvantages of open defection.
International speaker Dr KS Ratnakar, Bellampalli Sub-Collector Rahul Raj, ACP Jadav, ZP vice-chairman Satyanarayana, constituency MPPS, ZPTCs, Satyasai Seva Samithi members and others were present.
