Mancherial: Four held for pick pocketing, booty worth Rs 2.50 lakh seized

Mancherial: The police arrested four persons and recovered Rs 2.50 lakh cash and other items. Speaking at a press meet at ACP office in Mancherial on Tuesday, Deputy Commissioner of Police D Uday Kumar said that based on reliable information, Rural Inspector Y Krishna Kumar directed Sub-Inspector Pramod Reddy to conduct vehicle checking at Talli Telangana Chowk. During the checking, three persons tried to escape and the police arrested them and found Rs 2.50 lakh cash, four cell phones and five women handbags and six wallets.
The arrested were identified as Raval Solanki of Indoor district, Madhya Pradesh, Sharook Sing Rathod and Juneman Solanki of Madhya Pradesh. The accused had committed various crimes, pickpocketing at public places like Sammakka Saralamma Jatara, Godavari Jatara at CCC Naspur areas in the district.
ACP Ch Lakshminarayana, Rural Inspector Y Krishna Kumar, SI Pramod Reddy and others were present.
