Hyderabad: Maulana Azad National Urdu University Teachers Association (MANUUTA) today paid glowing tribute to their departed colleague Prof. Waseem Begum at a condolence meeting held at Library Auditorium. Prof. Waseem from Dept. of Urdu passed away two days ago after brief illness.
Prof. Ayub Khan, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Dr. M. A. Sikandar, Registrar, Prof. Mohd. Zafaruddin and Prof. Farooq Bakshi spoke about the departed soul and asked teaching fraternity to emulate her academic excellence.
Dr. Bonthu Kotaiah, General Secretary MANUUTA presented details about her distinguished career and conducted proceedings. Dr. Kahkasha Lateef, Publicity Secretary also addressed. Condolence meeting began with the recitation of verses from Holy Quran by Dr. Aman Ubed, Asst. Professor.
