Medak: Contractors told to lift rice stocks

Medak: District Additional Collector Nagesh directed the contractors to speed up the transport of rice from civil supplies warehouses and complete the distribution within three days. Speaking, here at Collectorate on Tuesday, the Additional Collector said that as per government's orders, every beneficiary should get 12 kg of rice for free. Dealers should distribute using e-Pos machines, he said.

District civil supplies officer K Srinivas, assistant manager Raju Naik, deputy Tahsildar Sadiq Hussain and others were present.
