I felt cheated." Many passengers at the Jubilee Bus Stop in Secunderabad travelling to Karmnagar and Siddipet were left stranded.
Mallika, from Siddipet said, "I cannot afford to book a cab. My brother and I came to Gandhi Hospital and now we are stuck." Many private bus drivers reached Jubilee Bus Stand as the word spread about hiring drivers and conductors.
S Praneeth, Depot Manager JBS said, "30 drivers and 30 conductors were taken and allotted buses."
Private cars rake in good moolah
Private cars charged Rs 500 per head to Karimnagar and autos Rs 3,000 for three passengers to Karimnagar.
Fed up of waiting for buses at the Jubilee Bus Station, people travelling to Karimnagar and beyond took the private car services.
