Minister Eatala Rajender appeals to health department to be on alert

Health Minister Eatala Rajendar on Monday appealed to the health department officials to be on alert at all the time until the coronavirus wiped out from the state.

The minister visited Gandhi hospital to check the hospital preparedness and the measures being taken up to prevent the spreading of the novel coronavirus. He inspected the laboratory which now has the coronavirus diagnostic kits that confirm the coronavirus. From today, the swab samples of the persons admitted to the hospital suspecting being infected by the virus will be tested at the hospital.

Eatala Rajender said that the swab samples of the people from Andhra Pradesh will be also tested at Gandhi Hospital. He further urged the officials to be available round the clock to provide treatment to the patients.

The minister also appealed to the public to be cautious and take all the necessary measures to avoid getting infected by the coronavirus.
