Minister launches Feed the Need stall in Karimnagar
BC Welfare and Civil Supplies Minister Gangula Kamalakar on Friday inaugurated the ‘Feed the Need’ stall established by Pavan Furnitures in association with Municipal Corporation, at Circus Grounds here.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said it is a good act to serve hungry people with food materials by collecting leftover food from various function halls. The Minister appreciated the efforts of Pavan Furnitures and municipal officials, who took the initiation of collecting leftover food from hotels and function halls to feed poor and hungry people in the name of 'Feed the Need' by preserving them in hygienic places using different kinds of machinery like hot and cool chambers and refrigerators.
After tasting biryani from the stall established in the premises of municipal office, Kamalakar distributed food packets and fruits to poor people.
City Municipal Commissioner Venu Gopal Reddy, former corporators Sunil Rao, Rajendar, Buchhi Reddy, G Kalyani, B Venu, Challa Hari Shankar, V Ramana Rao, K Rajashekar, G Madhavi, S Prasad and representatives of Pavan Furnitures V Laxman, Ravi and Pavan were present along with others.
