Modi asks GA to clarify on separate J&K PM
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has mounted a vitriolic attack on the Congress and its alliance partners and their leaders demanding an answer to the demand mooted by the National Conference for a separate Prime Minister to Jammu and Kashmir.

Addressing his second election meeting "Vijay Sankalp" Sabha here at Lal Bahadur stadium on Monday, Modi said, former J&K chief minister Omar Abdullah, son of the National Conference chief Farooq Abdullah, had demanded the restoration of pre-1951 position in J&K.
Modi said that the Congress and its alliance partners in the grand alliance (Mahagatbandhan) in which the NC is also a member should make their stand clear on this issue.
Apart from the Congress and TDP, Modi asked former Prime Minister Deve Gowda, NCP chief and former Union Minister Sharad Pawar, to come out in the open and make their stand clear to the people of the country. Modi said being a "chowkidar" he would not allow J&K to have a separate PM which would take the country back to 1953.
Taking a swipe at the TRS and its chief K Chandrasekhar Rao, Modi said the pink party was not interested in development of the state other than the development of his own family and strengthening the vote banks.
Modi said that the Centre wanted the Hyderabad Metro Rail project should also expand to Old City at a faster pace like Delhi Metro. However, the AIMIM has become a big speed breaker. He further said that the steering of TRS was in the hands of Majlis. KCR, he said, was more interested in promoting his family rule.
He said the car belongs to the TRS, but the steering was in the hands of the Majlis.
Modi said that the Ramagundam fertiliser factory would be revived and more infrastructure facilities would be provided to the twin cities. Besides, Hyderabad where many multi-national units, including start-ups, were located was an inspiration to the youth who wished to make a mark in life, he said.
Rolling out the achievements of the NDA government at the Centre for the last five years, Modi said that he could successfully complete several projects and take hard decisions due to the blessing and support to the people given to him.
Modi listed out how the NDA could take a decision on the Income-Tax exemption limit which was raised to Rs 5 lakh which has come into effect from April 1.
He said availability of educational and home loans and reduction of power, mobile and health bills and containing the inflations were the other achievements of the NDA government.
