Hyderabad: State BJP leadership have expressed the hope that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's two elections meetings – one at ITI grounds in Bhootpur village in Mahbubnagar and another in Hyderabad on April 1 – will engineer a win-win situation for the party.

As per the tentative schedule, the Prime Minister will be arriving by a special flight in the city and go to public meeting venue by helicopter. In contrast to his campaign in Assembly elections when he took on the TRS, the Prime Minister is expected to focus on his "New India Agenda" to ensure corruption-free administration.

Providing basic amenities to all sections of people, safety of women, health coverage and education could be his focus during the public meetings, the party sources said.

However, Modi may also touch certain local issues to address the woes of the red jowar and turmeric farmers.

A senior party leader said that party has a strong candidate like D K Aruna fielded from the Mahbubnagar Lok Sabha seat. Besides, the sitting Mahbubnagar Member of Parliament A P Jithender Reddy from TRS has already joined the party.
