Mother, son die of coronavirus in Sangareddy

A woman and her son died of the coronavirus in a span of few hours here at Narayankhed of Sangareddy district on Thursday.

Getting into details, the woman, a native of Challagidda Thanda had infected with the coronavirus along with her two sons and two daughters-in-law. All the five were put under home quarantine and are being given treatment.

On Wednesday night, the woman whose condition was stable has died all of a sudden hours before her son who succumbed to the virus on Thursday morning. The two deaths shocked the family members who are in home isolation in Narayankhed.

Meanwhile, the people of Challagidda Thanda denied the bodies into their village for the last rites fearing of the infection.

On the other hand, the High Court on Thursday expressed anger against the government for no action against the private hospitals for charging inflated medical bills to coronavirus patients. However, the court also appreciated the government for enhancing the tests and its efforts to contain the virus.
