Karimnagar: Local MP Boinapalli Vinod Kumar urged the teachers to cast their vote for Mamindla Chandrashekar Goud, who is contesting for Karimnagar Graduate MLC seat.
Speaking to the media at a press meet here at a hotel on Monday, the MP said Chandrashekar is contesting in the MLC polls to serve the people after resigning for his high cadre job.
He actively participated in separate the Telangana movement by extending his support to TRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao. That is why the party has extended its support for Mamindla Chandrashekar Goud, Vinod Kumar added.
TRSMA State general secretary Yadagiri Shekar Rao, who did vigorous campaigning, gained faith among the graduates and unemployed youth and is sure to win Karimnagar Graduate MLC seat. But on the request made by Chief Minister KCR, Shekar Rao withdrew his nomination and extending his support for Mamindla Chandrashekar Goud, whom the TRS is supporting.
The party will recognise his sacrifice and will provide him better opportunity in coming up days, he stated. All the members of the TRSMA association must extend their support to Chandrashekar Goud and must play key role in his victory.
Karimnagar Graduates MLC candidate Mamindla Chandrashekar Goud, TRSMA State general secretary Yadagiri Shekar Rao, Association members Srinivas Reddy, Paramjyothi, Bhupal, Sanjeev Reddy, K Keshav Reddy, Narayana Reddy, Subhash, Prabhakar Reddy, Raj Kumar, Manohar, Vinay, Sidhanthi, Karimnagar Libraries Department chairman A Ravinder Reddy were present along with others.
