Nagarjuna Sagar: Setting up of huge lift at Sagar project on cards

Nagarjuna Sagar: Government is planning to establish a huge lift at Nagarjuna Sagar project to provide irrigation facility to tailend lands.

On direction of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, a retired engineers' team is likely to conduct survey on Tuesday ( December 10). Ayacut farmers of Sagar left canal have been facing several problems with small capacity lifts for many years.

Retired engineers' team after careful study and examination would submit a special report on the feasibility of the huge lift near State's lifeline project Nagarjuna Sagar.
