Nalgonda: Vehicles sans FASTags remain stranded at toll plazas

Bhongir/Nalgonda: A large number of vehicles was seen queued at non-FASTag entries at toll plazas of Panthangi and Gudur in Yadadri-Bhongir district and Korlapahad in Nalgonda district for their turn to pay toll tax on Monday.

The vehicles that have FASTag stickers on their panes moved without stopping through FASTag gates of toll plazas. The FASTag system at toll plazas came into force from December 15 and vehicles owners expressed their pleasure over the system introduced by the Central government. Meanwhile, several vehicle owners have shown their interest to take FASTags for their vehicles at the centres arranged near respective toll plazas.
