He was speaking in Lok Sabha. He expressed the hope that Prime Minister Narendra Modi would fulfil his promise to build house for the poor under the Prime Minister Avas Yogina up by 2022. Nageswara Rao, while praising the scheme, stressed the need to allocate more funds for the housing scheme.
He explained that the TRS government was building double bedroom houses for the poor. The government had sanctioned Rs 5 lakh per each house in the State, he said. The MP said while the Centre was providing input subsidy of just Rs 6,000 to each farmer, the Telangana government was providing Rs 10,000 to each farmer under Rythu Bandhu scheme.
