More than 5,000 regular employees working in the GHMC have reasons to cheer as they are being covered under a new health insurance scheme from November 1 onwards.
Hyderabad: More than 5,000 regular employees working in the GHMC have reasons to cheer as they are being covered under a new health insurance scheme from November 1 onwards.
Each employee (male or female) can avail the facility along with spouse, two children and both parents. Each family will be extended health insurance of Rs 3 lakh per annum.
GHMC commissioner D S Lokesh Kumar stated that the new scheme would start from November 1 onwards.
The commissioner asked the remaining staff to submit required information in the form of a proforma to include their names under the scheme.
