Nine TS IPS officers get promotion

The Telangana government gave promotions to nine senior IPS officials in the State.
Hyderabad: The Telangana government gave promotions to nine senior IPS officials in the State.
Two officials belong to the Intelligence department. They are Rajesh Kumar and N Shivashankar Reddy.
Along with them, Warangal Police Commissioner Dr V Ravinder was also given promotion. All belonging to the 2002 IPS batch were promoted as Inspector-Generals of Police (IGPs).
Six other police officials of the 2006 batch namely Kartikeya, K Ramesh Naidu, V Satyanarayana, B Sumathi, M Srinivasulu and A Venkateswar Rao were promoted as Deputy Inspector-Generals of Police (DIGs).
The government has issued orders on Wednesday regarding the promotions.
