One held for cheating jobless youth in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The North Zone Task Force sleuths on Wednesday busted a fake government job racket and arrested one Nomula Rajender Goud (32) on charges of cheating innocent job aspirants with false promise to provide Group –II government jobs in Secretariat and other departments.

They seized net cash of Rs 83,300 and a mobile phone from the possession of the accused. The accused failed in Intermediate and to gain easy money illegally lured the innocent job aspirants through known sources. He used to tell the aspirants that he has good contacts with senior officials in Secretariat and PA of Ministers and cheat them.

The accused cheated complainant Sahadevudu to the tune of Rs 13 lakh on pretext of arranging Group-II government job in December 2015 and failed to provide the job and return the amount. The Task Force sleuths team laid a trap and arrested the accused and handed him over to Gopalapuram police for further action.
