Permission for meetings at People's Plaza on Necklace road has been cancelled. Meanwhile, the authorities on Sunday said that parks including Jalagam Vengal Rao Park, Public gardens, Jala Vihar, Nehru Zoological Park, Indira Park, Oxygen park and other parks in all the municipalities will remain closed.

On Saturday, the Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao issued an advisory for the closure of all schools, colleges, shopping malls and movie theatres to curb the spread of coronavirus.
