Patil counts on good work for re-election

Zaheerabad: B Basanthrao Patil, TRS candidate from Zaheerabad, is confident of win in the Lok Sabha elections. He is banking on the popularity of the State government headed by K Chandrashekar Rao. He is pinning his hopes on a number of schemes he secured as the sitting MP.

Patil said he had got sanction for a new national highway at a cost of Rs 6,657 crore. The total length of the highway is 708 km. Apart from it, the Central government road funds to the tune of 164 crore were sanctioned for 154 km. He also secured funds to the tune of Rs 362.83 crore from the Centre under the national RURBAN scheme.

In addition to it, Rs 2,000 crore was sanctioned for Bodhan-Bidar new railway line, Rs 1,400 crore for Zaheerabad railway station. A foot over bridge were sanctioned at Kamareddy railway station. He presented Maruti Eeco-6 STR vehicle to Telangana Rashtra Gurukula Pathasala and Kala Sahla (Girls) students at Hothi—K village.

He also presented the same vehicle to Navodaya Vidyalaya students at Nizamsagar. He got funds for rural development too. He secured funds to the tune of Rs 26.69 crore for CC roads in all seven constituencies, Rs 1,59 crore for rural water supply and other schemes. He spent Rs 2,512.88 crore MPLADS funds during the five-year term.

One of the most significant contributions of BB Patil is getting sanction for roads. A total of 708 km was sanctioned at Rs 6657 crore. From the central road funds, 157 km with amount of Rs 164 cr. He has also the distinction of getting national rurban scheme sanctioned by the Government of India with total worth of Rs 362.83 cr.

Railway line

In the last few years, an approval of Rs 2000 cr for Bodhan –Bidar New Railway line and Rs.1400 cr for Zaheerabad-Secunderabad New Railway line with a new stoppage of express train 16734/16733 bound to Rameshwaram from Okha stopped at Kamareddy in both directions have been hallmarks. Ramesh, a resident of Zaheerabad said, "It is a boon as a number of people now can hop onto a train."

The Zaheerabad railway station and Kamareddy railway station would soon have footover bridges. Mahesh, a resident said that it was possible due to the intervention of BB Patil.

Education

For the citizens of Jharasangam village ,the sanction of a Kendriya Vidyalaya was music to their ears. Locals have been upbeat about the coming of the school in Jharasangam. The facilitation of vans to transport girl students of Telangana Rashtra Gurukula Pathashala & Kala Shala (Girls) students at Hothi-K Village and Navodaya Vidyalaya students at Nizamsagar also impressed the locals.

The sponsoring of students for India International Science Festival held at Delhi, Chennai and Lucknow for three consecutive years starting from 2016 has caught the imagination of people. Revathi, a parent, said, "It would not have been possible for us to send our children, if not for the help from the MP."

Adoption of schools

The adoption of 20 panchayat schools in Kamareddy district and their transformation as model schools at a cost of Rs 20 lakh has been taken up.

1. Provided UV & RO Drinking Water plant and Constructed Toilets in various Schools.
2. Constructed compound wall to Junior College, Narayankhed, at a cost of Rs 5 lakh
3. Got sanctioned Rs 37.45 lakhs for Dual Desk in Jharasangam Mandal from Indian Oil Corporation Limited under CSR fund.
4. Got sanctioned Rs 1 crore for Dual Desk and Furniture to Schools in three constituencies of Andole, Zaheerabad and Narayankhed from Bharat Dynamic Ltd under CSR funds. Execution is in progress.
5. Got sanctioned Rs 7.9 lakh for Dual Desk in Yellareddy Constituency from MRF Tyre under CSR funds. Execution is in progress.
6. Got sanctioned Rs 8.95 crore for digitalisation of 746 classrooms in Kamareddy district by Bharat Dynamics under CSR funds. Execution is in progress.
7. Proposed construction of compound wall for 56 schools in Kamareddy district to Indian Oil Corporation Ltd at a cost of Rs 7.34 crore under CSR funds. Sanction is under process.
8. Proposed construction of compound wall to 85 Schools in Kamareddy district to National Mineral Development Corporation. With cost Rs. 20.70 lakh under CSR funds. Sanction is under process.

RURAL DEVELOPMENT

1. Got sanctioned Rs 26.79 crore for CC roads in all the 7 constituencies with matching grant from NREGS.
2. Sanctioned an amount of Rs 1.59 crore for Rural Water Supply i.e. drilling of borewells, mini water tanks, affixing motors, pipeline etc in various villages of Zaheerabad Parliamentary constituency.
3. Sanctioned Rs 8.35 crore for CC roads, drains & culverts etc. in various villages of Zaheerabad Parliamentary Constituency.
4. Sanctioned Rs 4.78 crore for sports & cultural activity centers and reading rooms, community hall, compound wall to graveyards etc. for different communities in various villages of the parliamentary constituency.
5. Sanctioned Rs 3.53 crore for rural LED electrification.
6. Sanctioned an amount of Rs 18 lakh for construction of toilets in schools in various villages of Zaheerabad Parliamentary constituency.

OTHER ACTIVITY

1. Got sanctioned the ex-gratia of Rs 28 lakh to the victims in Degulwadi village in Kangti mandal where 7 persons were hit by thunderbolt.
2. Submitted project report for Rs 66 crore under Swadesh Darshan Scheme for Development of tourism circuit comprising Ketaki Sangameshwara Temple, Jharasangam, Rejinthal Sidhi Vinayak Temple, Nalla Pochamma Temple, Borancha, Hanuman Temple, Madnoor, Triveni Sangam, Kandakurti, and Edupayala Durgamma Temple, Edupayala and the same is under process for sanction.
3. Got Sanctioned & Operational Post Office Passport Seva Kendra (POPSK) at Kamareddy
4. Got Sanctioned Construction of Post Office Building at Madnur.
5. Development Kowlas village with an Amount Rs 8.5 Crores under Sansad Aadardsh Gram Yojana
6. National Investment and Manufacturing Zones (NIMZ): Made efforts for Land Acquisition and inisation of the project

OTHER SOCIAL ACTIVITY

1. Distributed blankets in poor student in residential school on the eve of birthday.
2. Conducted free health camp at Zaheerabad and treated 685 people with personal funds.
3. Conducted free health camp at Sirpur and treated 1,295 people with personal funds.
4. Conducted free health camp at allover Zaheerabad Parliamentary Constituency at every mandal headquarter and provided treatment to 1,25,000 people with personal funds.
