People must accept the Supreme Court verdict on Ayodhya: Karimnagar CP Kamalasan Reddy

Karimnagar: Commissioner of Police Kamalasan Reddy appealed the people to accept the verdict, which the Supreme Court will be giving on November 17 on the construction of Ram mandir in Ayodhya.

Speaking at a press meet at Police Commissioner's office here on Tuesday, the Commissioner said that various sections of people in Karimnagar will live with peace and harmony and also got name across the State.

To maintain it, they must respect the verdict of the Supreme Court on Ayodhya issue. To maintain this harmony under the Commissionerate limits, police are going to conduct meeting with the elders of various communities and with the members of peace committee, he informed.

The Commissioner also said that police will have special vigilance team to check the posts that will be uploaded on various social media platforms and if any message that could provoke the people of other communities are posted, then immediate action would be taken against that group admins or persons concerned as per law.

There is no permission to celebrate the verdict of Supreme Court. People should not burn crackers, distribute sweets and take out rallies, he cautioned.

Police Commissioner Kamalasan appealed the RTC employees to utilise the opportunity and join duty and said that they can join at any office either at CP and Collector or at RDO offices or else at RTC RM and DM offices. He assured police security will be provided to them.

Additional DCP Srinivas, City ACP Ashok, CIs Srinivas Rao, Deva Reddy and Vignan Rao were present along with others.
