Hyderabad: A 28-year-old medico from Telangana studying PG Anesthesia in Guru Gobind Singh Medical College, Faridkot, Punjab went missing from September 20. Dr K Sai Charan hails from Kollapur in Nagarkurnool district. His elder brother stays in BN Reddy Nagar in the city.

According to his friends, Sai Charan, who is unmarried left a note to his friends in the college and went missing. A police case was registered based on a complaint from the principal.

"I am not able to bear these suicidal thoughts and I am feeling worthless and I quit. Please don't search for me. Sorry for everything," was written in the letter along with his brother's address.

His friends in Hyderabad said that Sai Charan was a clever student and always spent time reading books and it might have affected him mentally. According to them, Charan returned to Hyderabad from Punjab and withdrew some amount from an ATM in the city.

This they got to know based on the bank transaction as he has not got in touch with anyone and his phone is also kept switched off from the last four days.
