Police foil bid to loot jewellery shop, ATMs

Hyderabad: The Cyberabad Commissionerate's Dundigal police on Sunday night hours foiled the offenders plot to rob a jewellery shop and theft in two ATMs in their police station limits.

According to police, Sub-Inspector Shekhar Reddy escaped unhurt when he tried to obstruct and nab the offenders, who rammed their car on to him.

Police chased their car and the offenders absconded by running into the Dhoolapally forest area.

Police seized the car and the cutters which were used to commit the offences.

They found that the car was robbed in Alwal and used for looting the ATMs and jewellery shop. By registering a case, police are investigating.
