Popular Restaurant stores rotten meat

Tandur: Municipal officials seized a restaurant for allegedly using rotten meat here on Wednesday. Municipal Sanitation Officer Nagaraju inspected the Popular Restaurant at Vallabhai Patel X Roads.

He found rotten chicken kept in the refrigerator. He also found expired cooldrinks in the hotel. Speaking on the occasion, Nagaraju said the owners of hotels should serve hygienic food; otherwise, stringent action would be taken against them.
