Karimnagar: Deputy Transport Commissioner Mamindla Chandra Shekhar Goud directed the officials of the combined Karimnagar district Transport Department to provide better services to the motorists.

It was suggested that the help desks in the offices of the Transport department should be strengthened and the motorists should be made aware of the online services provided through T APP Folio.

District wise MVI’s revenue target was reviewed on this occasion.

Shekhar Goud said that Karimnagar district earned Rs 90.81 crore, Peddapally district Rs 50.50 crore, Jagtial Rs 37.53 crore and Rajanna Sircilla Rs 24.40 crore, and the total combined income of Karimnagar district stood at Rs 202.88 crore.

Officials of RTA Offices that do not have their own buildings are advised to contact the concerned Collector and work hard to get a place. It is advised to do extensive awareness programmes on road safety in the coming days. Motorists were warned that if they fail to pay quarterly taxes, they will face heavy fines and impound their vehicles.

The department officials extended a warm welcome to transportation Ponnam Prabhakar, who was appointed as the Transport and BC Welfare Minister at the Timpapur Transport Department office and conveyed greetings on behalf of the combined Karimnagar district.

The Transport department officials of four districts, Ranga Rao, Kondal Rao, Naga Lakshmi, Vamsidhar, Ghouse Pasha. Masood Ali, Sirajur Rahman, Alle Srinivas, Uma Maheswara Rao, Bheem Singh, Ravi Kumar. Ranjith, Venkata Ramana, Kishore. Chandra Reddy, Rajani Devi and office staff were present.
