Providential escape for travellers in Mulugu

Mulugu: Around 40 people had a providential escape when the TSRTC bus in which they were travelling was skidded into a gorge partially. The mishap occurred when the bus was heading to Tupakulagudem from Eturnagaram.

No passenger was injured in the incident. The eyewitnesses said that driver lost control over the wheel while negotiating a turn. It's learnt that due to rains in last two days, bus (Palle Velugu) skidded to roadside.

However, the bus driver was able to control the vehicle at the last minute, otherwise it would have been a disaster for travellers, the locals said.
