The weathermen attributed the reason to the prevailing weather conditions to a cyclonic circulation over south coastal Andhra Pradesh. So far, Hyderabad has witnessed 189.2 mm of rainfall in the monsoon against the normal rainfall 103.4 mm, while Rangareddy and Medchal districts witnessed 137.9 mm and 158.3 mm of rainfall respectively.
With the downpour in Telangana for the last days, Dabba Vagu in Sangareddy district flooded with the rainwater after four years. According to the officials of the irrigation department, the project is filled with 500 cusecs of rainwater till date.
The officials also said that heavy rains are predicted in the catchment areas of Manjeera and Singur projects.
