Ramagundam: NTPC locomotive fleet strength increases to 12
NTPC, Ramagundam Executive Director Dr PP Kulkarni inaugurating the new Locomotive here on Friday, said that it is the new WDG3A Locomotive (Loco No: RSTPS-012), which has been added to the Loco fleet at NTPC Ramagundam at MGR Workshop.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Kulkarni said that with adding this new Locomotive to NTPC, Ramagundam, the Locomotive fleet strength at Ramagundam has been increased to 12.
He congratulated MGR team and emphasised the importance of safety and advised everyone to be vigilant in workplace.
The new Locomotive was procured under ST-II Mega R&M budget and was supplied & commissioned at site by M/s Diesel Locomotive Works, Varanasi, he added.
Cheif General Manager (O&M) Mathew Varghese, Soumendra Das, General Manager (Maint.), M Ravi Kumar, Assistant General Manager (MGR) and NTPC senior officials were present along with others on the occasion.
