Ready To Fight Against Uranium Mining: KCR
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has said that the TS government neither supported the proposed uranium mining in Nallamala forest zone nor gave any official permission for it.
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has said that the TS government neither supported the proposed uranium mining in Nallamala forest zone nor gave any official permission for it.
Speaking in the Assembly, he said that the government did not give any kind of permission to set up to uranium exploration and a processing unit. The Telangana government is against mining in the forest zone which provides livelihoods to locals and help economical balance.
On the request of CLP leader Bhatti Vikramarka, KCR also said the government is ready to adopt a resolution against the mining and instructed Chief Secretary SK Joshi to prepare the resolution and introduce the same in the Assembly on Monday.
If the centre go ahead, he is ready to fight against the mining project involving all political forces in the future, KCR added.
