The Central Crime Station (CCS), Hyderabad police on Saturday arrested the accused Mohammed Shaffic Ahmed (40), a realtor, who created letterhead on the name of Principal Secretary, Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) for land regularisation of Hussainabad Society at Raidurg Nowkhalsa village in Serilingampally mandal and forged the signature of Principal Secretary to Telangana Chief Minister.

Hyderabad: The Central Crime Station (CCS), Hyderabad police on Saturday arrested the accused Mohammed Shaffic Ahmed (40), a realtor, who created letterhead on the name of Principal Secretary, Chief Minister's Office (CMO) for land regularisation of Hussainabad Society at Raidurg Nowkhalsa village in Serilingampally mandal and forged the signature of Principal Secretary to Telangana Chief Minister.

According to sleuths, the accused made an oral agreement with one Arjun Singh to get clearance of 12,180 square yards in Survey No 66/1 of Raidurg Nowkhalsa which is a government land and he also took Rs 10 lakh as advance.

Later, the accused approached one broker to get clearance of the land regularisation. But the accused failed to get clearance for land regularisation.

Then on September 27, the accused morphed the letterhead of Chief Minister's Office and created letterhead at DTP centre situated at Basheerbagh crossroads and took the photo copy of the same in his mobile and forwarded the same to Arjun Singh mobile through WhatsApp by saying that he got the copy from CM's office and original will come shortly.

Based on the complaint of the victim, police registered a case against the accused under sections 420, 465, 466, 468, 471 and 201 IPC and took up investigation.
