The RTC strike continued for the third day on Monday. Protests, rallies and slogans against the government were held at the all depots. The government takes the alternative measures in the wake of the strike. However, the situation remained the same. Most of the travellers heading to their hometowns opted for private vehicles.
Fifty per cent of buses were confined to the depots due to the strike by RTC workers. According to officials, the RTC in the district has incurred a loss of Rs 90 lakh in these three days.
