South Central Railway (SCR) General Manager Gajanan Mallya undertook Inspection of Raichur-Wadi-Secunderabad Section on Monday.

Hyderabad: South Central Railway (SCR) General Manager Gajanan Mallya undertook Inspection of Raichur-Wadi-Secunderabad Section on Monday.

He was accompanied by Vijay Pratap Singh, Divisional Railway Manager, Guntakal Division on the inspection from Raichur to Wadi and Anand Bhatia, Divisional Railway Manager, Secunderabad Division from Chittapur to Secunderabad.

Gajanan Mallya commenced the inspection at Raichur Railway station where he undertook detailed inspection of the station, reviewed passenger amenities available and discussed with Divisional Officials on the developmental plans. He discussed on the new rail line works pertaining to Krishna - Jaklair section which is a part of Mahbubnagar - Munirabad new rail project with Construction officials. He visited Maganur major bridge work site and reviewed the progress and advised the officials to speed up the project.

The General Manager commenced the inspection of Raichur-Wadi section through Window Trailing. He interacted with passengers, received representations from rail user groups, interacted with Safai karmacharis and discussed on various passenger amenities to be developed with officials at Krishna Railway Station. He inspected Saidapur Railway Station premises and checked facilities available for passengers. He also inspected Yadgir and Nalwar Railway stations on his way.

Later, at Chittapur Railway Station, the General Manager inspected Crew Lobby and interacted with Loco Pilots on facilities required. He also visited Sedam, Tandur, Vikarabad Railway Station where he inspected circulating area, available passenger amenities and staff quarters being constructed newly at Sedam.

Vikarabad MLA Dr Anand met the General Manager and discussed on rail developmental plans in the region at Vikarabad Railway Station.
