Hockey Young Turks Club is organising a Hockey tournament as part of birthday celebrations of the Telangana CM, K Chandrashekar Rao from February 17 to 21 at Secunderabad Gymkhana Ground.
Secunderabad: Hockey Young Turks Club is organising a Hockey tournament as part of birthday celebrations of the Telangana CM, K Chandrashekar Rao from February 17 to 21 at Secunderabad Gymkhana Ground.
This was stated by Muppidi Gopal, former chairman of Bowenpally Agriculture Market committee at a press meet. Players from various districts would participate in the tournament, he said. The winning team would be given Chandrashekhar Rao (CR) cup and prizes, he said, adding that Telangana government was committed to promotion of sports in the State.
Telangana ministers Srinivas Goud, Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Chamakura Malla Reddy, MLA Sayanna, state Hockey association president Saral Talwar, general secretary Alfas Lazar and others would participate in the inaugural programme, he informed.
