Senior journalist passes away in Mahbubnagar

Mahbubnagar: A senior journalist of erstwhile Mahbubnagar, Hanumanth Reddy, passed away on Wednesday at his residence. Reddy had served as journalist for various vernacular publications in the last 30 years and highlighted people's problems and took them to the notice of the government for their redressal.

Agriculture Minister Singireddy Niranja Reddy and Excise Minister Srinivas Goud expressed shock over the death of Hanumanth Reddy and extended their condolences.

Hanumanth Reddy was also the founder president of District Telangana Journalists Union and had worked for the welfare of the journalists in the district. Leaders from different parties extended their condolences and prayed for his soul to rest in peace.
