Senior TRS leaders intensify lobbying for nominated posts in Karimnagar
Karimnagar: Many senior TRS leaders of erstwhile Karimnagar district have started lobbying to grab the key nominated posts. About 30 nominated posts are lying vacant which will carry the Cabinet minister tag. But hundreds of leaders across the State are vying with each other for the key posts.
Especially the senior leaders and party loyalists of erstwhile Karimnagar district who have not been accommodated in any key post till date and are sure that justice will be done to them this time by the State party leadership and are expecting that CM KCR would give major share once again to Karimnagar district by allotting maximum number of leaders in the nominated posts.
The party leadership had earlier promised to some of its senior leaders, whom it had not given MLA, MP and MLC seats, that it would allot them any one nominated post.
All those senior leaders are now pinning their hopes on the key leaders who are close associates of Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao and KT Rama Rao and have intensified lobbying to grab the nominated post.
As the party denied MLA seat to former Zilla Parishad chairperson Tula Uma, she is sure that her services will be recognised this time by allotting her either a suitable nominated post or MLC seat in the Governor quota.
Sajid Khan of Karimnagar district is expecting the chairman post of Minority Corporation. Sajid Khan is a loyal follower of former MP B Vinod Kumar and is in good books of TRS party working president KT Rama Rao. He is also the vice-president of 'Movement for Peace and Justice Organisation and is an active member of 'Jamaithe-Islamic Hind Society'. Both the organisations are also backing up the Sajid Khan.
The TRS state secretary Guduri Praveen Kumar is expecting Textile Corporation Chairman post. Jakkula Nagaraju Yadav is pinning his hopes on chairman post of Shepherd Development Corporation. Both belongs to Rajanna Sircilla district and are very close associates of IT minister and TRS party working president K.T.Rama Rao.
KCR may continue Eda Shankar Reddy as IDC chairman and C. Rakesh as Technical Services chairman since both of possess very good knowledge in their respective fields.
Micheal Srinivas is vying for Rajaka (Washerman community) Corporation chairman post and Kolipaka Mallikarjun is pinning his hopes on the chairman post of Fisheries Development Corporation. Both of them are with the party right from the beginning and had been arrested during the Million March organised at Tank Bund in Hyderabad during the separate Telangana movement.
It is going to be tough for CM KCR and KTR to accommodate senior leaders in nominated posts as there is heavy competition for each post and many of them are with the party and rendered best services till date to the party being loyal.
