Shanti Dooth award for Prof B Suresh Lal
Prof B Suresh Lal, Department of Economics & Secretary, University Sports Board, Kakatiya University, Warangal, has been selected for ‘Bharat Shanthi Dooth Award’ by the World Peace Festival Society (WPFS)
Warangal: Prof B Suresh Lal, Department of Economics & Secretary, University Sports Board, Kakatiya University, Warangal, has been selected for 'Bharat Shanthi Dooth Award' by the World Peace Festival Society (WPFS) for his three-decade contribution in the field of higher education and community service in India. The award ceremony would be held at Vaagdevi PG College in Hanamkonda on August 25.
Justice Jasti Chalameswar, Senior Judge, Supreme Court of India (retired) will grace the occasion as Chief Guest. Guest of honour Rajesh Kumar, IPS DIG of Police, Hyderabad, President WPFS Dr Ampasayya Naveen and Mohd Sirajuddin, Founder of World Peace Festival Society, Warangal, will participate and present the award to Prof B Suresh Lal.
It may be mentioned here that the World Peace Festival Society was started in 1997 in Warangal, to promote the ideals of peace in the world. The 'Shanthi Dooth' (messengers of peace) award is given to individuals who have greatly contributed to the welfare of the society.
